Salary: $75k Unlicensed; $83k Licensed


WHAT WE DO: The Lincoln Families Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) program provides supports for youth who are at risk of losing their home placement due to their behaviors. Our staff teams work with the entire family to find solutions to ensure stability and reduce and manage challenging behaviors. Services include:

Our Why: Life with a child struggling with severe emotional and behavioral issues can become overwhelmingly stressful for the whole family, and jeopardize the child’s ability to remain at home. To ensure stability and success, the entire family must be involved in finding solutions for reducing and managing challenging behaviors long-term. A collaborative approach is critical, working with children, youth, parents, caregivers, foster parents, group home staff, and school personnel to learn strategies and skills to increase the kinds of behaviors for children to succeed and stay at home.



POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Program Manager, the TBS Clinician partners with youth and families in the community setting in order to reduce and eliminate high risk behaviors that significantly impair the young person’s ability to remain placed in their home. The Clinician will also work directly in conjunction with a primary therapist and in collaboration with any other treatment team members to achieve behavioral goals and promote stability in the home.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Expresses a passion for partnering with families experiencing significant stress, centering their experiences and knowledge. Experience with strengths-based, trauma-focused care. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams. Interest and enthusiasm for ensuring services are delivered in a manner that is respectful of the diversity of clients’ cultural experiences. Values diversity and expresses such in contact with youth, families and colleagues. Practices ongoing cultural self-assessment to explore the ways they may be prejudiced, biased or ignorant towards others of a different culture. Ability to manage tracking and meeting billing requirements, and integrate critical and clinical feedback on chart reviews. Ability to handle a level of autonomy and flexibility on scheduling.
